ABOLISHMENT OF TITHINGS

End Of Tithings

Tithe originated from Abraham in the days of old, before the coming of Moses and the Messiah Yeshua (Gen.14:20); when there were no Law of Moses; tithes were brought into the Law of Moses when Israel became a nation (Num.18:26); tithes were taken away from the law of liberty in Yeshua during the apostolic era of the Gospel of the Spirit of Truth (Heb.7:5,18). Many Christian Churches nowadays and for over many centuries claim that tithes had been before the institution of the Law of Moses. They are right, though wrong to say that it was not instituted in the dispensation or era of Law and was not removed in the era of the Spirit of grace. In the era of faith, Abraham gave a tenth of his loot otherwise called tithe without being asked to give the said or same amount. It was an act of willingness not of necessity (Gen.14:20). In the era of Law, the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - the Israelites gave tithes because they were asked to give the said amount. It was an act of necessity and not of willingness (Num.18:26, Heb.7:5). In the era of grace and truth in Yeshua our Leader, it was taken away according to (Heb.7:18). What is this that was annuled in Vs 18? In an adequate interpretation of Heb.7:18, it is written, "For there is verily a cancellation of that former commandment because it was weak and unprofitable." What is that former commandment? This scripture did not say "commandments" to mean all the rules of Moses Law, but it speaks of one, which is tithes, the subject of this Hebrew's Chapter 7. The Tithe Robbers rob the illiterates from the Old Prophet's book - Malachi 3:8-10. The question is, what did the NT says concerning tithes, now that we have seen what the OT revealed? Matt.23:23 says, "Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Law..." Christians should bear in mind that Christ was not speaking to those without the Law but to those under the Law of Moses. His disciples were not under the Law but Moses disciples, the Scribes and Pharisees (Jn.1:17 Gal.2:21). Yeshua reminded them that the Law mandates them to obey all things; not only to pay or receive tithe (Gal.3:10) else doom follows those who fails to do all things written in the Law of Moses. For even our brother James wrote, 2:10 KJV "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." If you are teaching that it is apostolically good that church members should give tithes, you should know that tithes is a rule of law in the law of Moses (Heb.7:5) and obeying this rule in the law also mandates you to obey the law completely. I am not ready to come out of this Church of the Saints (1Cor.14:33), The Truth Assembly. We, the Churches of the Saints in truth uphold the traditions the early Apostles handed over to us before their departure; these traditions are contrary to earthly standards, who are following Moses in the ways of Judaism and their forefathers in the way of traditions. We in the Churches of the Saints, in truth have nothing to do with Sabbaths, Tithes and Offerings, Sacred Objects, Circumcision, Jehovah, Torah, Priesthood, Incenses, Sacrifices and the 613 rules of Moses Law. For it is written in James 2:10 KJV "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all." Likewise whoever shall keep one law and fails to keep the others is also guilty of breaking all the laws of Moses. Now my friend, you who believe in tithes, do you also believe in animal sacrifices? You who believe in Circumcision, do you built Temples? Do you appoint Levites as priests in the Temples? Do you burn insences at the alter and construct the inner sanctuaries? Or haven't you get my point, or should I teach you like a baby? If you don't get it, what are your objections? What are you doing with Yeshua's name and His baptisms? Are they sustainable objections? can you prove beyond reasonable doubt that I am still in error!? Better thank God for me because I have come to set you free from those decievers who have brainwashed you. The essense or purpose of Heb.7 is to let the Christendom know that, (1) tithes is a law of Moses (Heb.7:5) (2) Christ is the end of that law (Heb.7:18). I want you all to understand that no law of Moses came into Christianity, as it is written in Galatians 3:21 KJV "... for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law." Underline, "a law" meaning there is no law of Moses that can make us righteous, and we have seen that the tithes is a law of Moses, and that whoever does any law commits a sin, (Galatians 3:22 KJV) "But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Yeshua the Messiah might be given to them that believe." Underline, "concluded all under sin" meaning that whoever does any commits a sin and we know that sin is disobeying the truth. My friend, repent now and follow the truth, for it is dangerous for you to die in that state, seeing that it is written in Romans 2:8 KJV "But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath," Christians are not supposed to give tithes. It is not an Apostolic doctrine; yet the one that bears the name Apostolic Church has it as a doctrine. This is error in the variety Churches.
