THE TRUTH ASSEMBLIES

The Second Sheepfold

The Churches of the Saints [1Cor.14:33] in the early times was lost in the Dark Ages, by the Old World Imperialists. We've begun a perfect re-establishment of that lost glory now found in a Book of the Gospel.

THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR

The Early Church Calendar

GOD'S GIVEN CALENDAR
“Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night." (Deut.16:1); "On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the Lord’s Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread." (Lev.23:5-6).
We're no more under this law of bondage; but the Calendar bears a different law of Christ from that of Moses. What's ended was the Law of Moses and not the Hebrew Calendar used in recording the events of the New Testament. You're about to learn a different Calendar from what you know. Abib is the first month and not January—according to Scriptures that cannot be broken. Abib 2020 fell on 10th March, 2020, and 15 days after, which began at twilight of the 14 day is Christ's institutionalisation of the Lord's Supper. The ancient tradition still applies today in The Truth Assemblies, that every new day begins at twilight.

This is Abba's command to His former people to keep this calendar; not that it came from them originally, but it originated from Genesis. Today, the law is changed but the Calendar is unchanged. Because, on the same month of the Hebrew Calendar; on the same day; at twilight, the Messiah Yeshua also celebrated His own kind of Passover known as the Christian Passover, as a replacement for the old type celebrated by the followers of Moses. He did not celebrate His own on a different calendar date and time, but the same calendar date and time of the Passover of the Jews. This means that Christ is the reality of that shadow in the Hebrew Calendar. This He did on the first month of Abib; on the twilight of the fourteenth day, which is the beginning of the fifteenth day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover Lamb was to be killed on the evening of the first day of the Unleavened Bread to continue the Hebrew Calendar with a reform of the obligatory Passover; with the change of principles and practices as ways of fulfilling the Law and the Prophets. "Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?” And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him. Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” ’Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.” So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover. In the evening (at twilight) He came with the twelve. And as they were eating, Yeshua took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, “This is My blood of the NEW COVENANT, which is shed for many. Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives." (Mk.14:12-17,22-26)
Let's examine the Old and the New Scriptures carefully, we'll see that the Messiah Yeshua never abolished the Hebrew Calendar which has been in  use by the fathers; before the coming of Moses Law. The questions are, is this Calendar from man? Are we challenging God by a new Calendar? Is God's standard calendar in use today? Did Yeshua and His early Church follow a new Calendar? Can we today understand dates and times of biblical events by Pope Gregory's new Calendar? When the Law was abolished, was the God's standard calendar abolished too in the entire New Testament? Is the Gregorian calendar in use today God's standard calendar? Where and when is the Hebrew's New Year in the Gregorian calendar? What are the names of the months in the Hebrew Calendar?
The month of Abib falls within 10th March, 2020 full moon. Fullmoon is usually Wednesdays twilight—First Day (Thursday). We've 7 days per week which starts on a Wednesday's twilight; second Thursday at another Wednesday's twilight starts 8th of the month, and third Wednesday's twilight is 15th—Day of Preparation; Thurday twilight—Passover; Friday's twilight—Sabbath; Saturday's twilight—LORD's Day. Last week starts 22nd. The Passover of the LORD Yesua took place on the first day of the third week, a Thursday which begins at Wednesday's sunset—15th Abib; mid-month twilight of Abib. It fell on the sixth day at the time of this event of Christ's introduction of a new Passover to His disciples; this showed that Passover was traditionally on Fridays—Sixth days! Usually first day of the third week in a circle of 28 sure days; four weeks which begins every month according to the original plan of the Moon to begin a new moon on the first day when the earth hided the moon from the sun; usually Thursdays—Wednesday's sunset. This means that there's no increment in the number of days for this month and there's no change of the Calender which was from the beginning; hence the initial procedure is still valid. Only that a month does not begin in a Sabbath, but scientifically on a Wednesday's twilight is Fullmoon. There are four constant Sabbaths in 28 days, and the first day begins every month and ends it continuously on a Wednesday's subset—the beginning of Thursday, the fifth day. The Calender used in the time of Christ showed that it followed the moon procedure, if truly each circle is in 28 days. In His days, the seventh day, Sabbath was the second day; the third day was the first day of the week, if we without reason conclude that the first day of the month is traditionally Sabbath. By the moon determination of 28 days, Sabbath have never fallen on a Fullmoon, and a Fullmoon is 1st of every month. Christ celebrated the Lord's Supper in the evening; at twilight of 15th Abib which has never been a Sabbath day; later that evening He was arrested at the Garden of Gethsemane and brought before the Sahendrin who questioned Him, beat Him mocked and accused Him falsely. Then, in the morning of the same Friday, He was brought before Pilate and was condemned to death. He died on the 15th Abib, a day before the Sabbath which is the third Sabbath of the month, on the 16th Abib—Friday's twilight. He resurrected on the 17th Abib—Saturday's twilight, and was seen by His disciples for forty days; then after forty days, He ascended into Heaven on 27th day of the second month of Ziv. From the day of Ascension to the day of Pentecost were seven days; which fell on the 4th of Sivan, the day before the first Sabbath of the third month. From the day of the Passover to the day of Pentecost were seven sabbaths or weeks and seven Lord's days. Hence the fifth day Wednesday's twilight Thursday) fell on the first day of Abib in the year of the event of Christ's death, the fifth day also falls on the first day of Abib in the year of the event of Christ's birth; if truly He died at the age of <50yrs—I believe. I think He's in His 40s. It means that this year 2019; the first of Abib falls on the same Thursday at Wednesday's twilight - the fifth day! We see a continuation of the Hebrew Calendar with new activities different from the old schedules, but an annulation of the former schedules with principles and practices within this Calendar. The mosaic Passover ended in the introduction of the Lord's Supper on the first month of Abib, and on the twilight of the fourteenth day, Thurday's twilight <15th Abib> of this month which begins the New Year. The month was not changed, or removed; but every mosaic religious activities in it were annulled by the introduction of things new within this Calendar. A replacement to the major religious activity of Judaism was made by Christ to be the Lord's Supper which is celebrated at every Christian meeting, and not an annual activity to be celebrated every 15th Abib. But we Antimoses cannot gainsay to this fact that it's on the first month of Nisan or Abib; the same month, the same day and the same time of the Old Passover that the Lord's Supper was introduced. This day is also a special mark of a new beginning for all named Christian, and a special day for General Assembly with the overseers. Failure to attend meeting at this date tantamounts to excommunication. Hence there are twelve months in the Christian Calendar an regular days of moon revolution for the Christian activities, it's clear to conclude that each year is determined by the movement of the Moon round the Earth and not the movement of the moon and Earth round the Sun. So, as the custom has been from the full moon, it means that within every Roman month, to its beginnings;  then again towards its end, is the beginning of the Christian months. I mean that new months move round and round the Gregory's Calender.
