ORDER OF MEETING
A Community of the Saints
(Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.) (Heb.10:25 KJV)
Hence every Christian Meeting is a Memorial of Yeshua's Passover, every Christian Meeting begins the Lord's Supper with the Washing Of The Feet: Jn.13:14—"If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another`s feet."
Saints Greetings
Greetings
M: Grace to you holy brethren and peace from God our Father and of the Lord Yeshua (Eph.1:2).
R: We worship You God our Father through Yeshua our only LORD (Jn.14:6).
M: Holy brethren, we are El's fellow workers; you are El's field, you are El's building: the pillar and ground of the truth (1Cor.3:9, 1Tim.3:15, 1Thes.5:27).
R: For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Christ Yeshua (1Cor.3:11)
M: Now I praise you holy brethren, that you remember Christ in all things and keep the traditions just as Christ by His Apostles have delivered them to us (1Cor.11:1-2). Christ is the end of the Law (Rom.10:4), which contains 613 rules. No more Jehovah as God's holy Name; no more Sabbaths, Holy days, Tithes, Festivals, Vows, Harvest, Sacred Objects, incenses, candles, vestments, priesthood, insignias, religious regalia, sacrifices, offerings, circumcision, Passover, Marriage lists and dowries and all other rules of the Law of Moses (Rom.3:20, 28, Gal.2:16). For as many as are under the law are under the curse...Christ has saved us from the curse of the law...(Gal.3:10-13). Now, do we leave the traditions of the Apostles to do the traditions of our forefathers and the Antichrist?
R: God forbid!
M: Let us in love shake hands with one another (2Cor.13:12, 1Cor.16:20, 21, 1Thes.5:25)
M: Now that we have come together in one place to break the unleavened bread, let us examine ourselves and so let us eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For whosoever eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks judgment to himself, not regarding the Lord's body (1Cor.11:20,28,29)
R: If we say that we have not sinned, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us; we make God a liar and His holy Word is not in us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1Jn.1:8-10)
M: Now, let us examine ourselves and confess our sins to one another as it is written, "Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed" (Jam.5:16)
R: We confess to Almighty Father that we have sinned knowingly and unknowingly; and to you holy brethren, I have sinned consciously and unconsciously, in my unwillingness to share; in my thoughts, words and actions. Please, ask the Father to forgive and forget, and forsake us not His earthly children.
M: Holy brethren, Christ has said it all, "Whoever sins you forgive, they are forgiven; whoever sins you refuse to forgive, they are not forgiven." (Jn.20:23); so, I declare under His authority, your sins are forgiven. Go and reconcile with all who have wronged you or whom you have wronged and sin no more. Let brotherly love continue among us. Do not forget to do what is right all the time. The Father loves us and has given us Yeshua who has forgiven us.
R: Happy are those whose sins are forgiven; all those whose sins are not recorded. Amen (Rom.4:7)
M: Blessed be God and Father of our Lord Yeshua, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Eph.1:3).
R: Just as He choose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Eph.1:4,7,9,10); that’s why we are called holy brethren, which means saints (Heb.3:1).
M: Holy brethren, we have been charged by the Lord to read the epistles, the apostolic letters, the New Testament to all the holy brethren (1Thes.5:27); that we also take heed to the ministry of teaching the New Testament, which we have received in the Lord; that we may fulfill it (Col.4:16-17). Christ has made us able ministers of the New Testament, not of the Old Testament but of the New Testament, for the OT kills, but the NT gives life. But if the ministry of death, the OT, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit, the NT, written as epistles not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation, the OT, had glory, the ministry of righteousness, the NT exceeds much more in glory. For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious. Therefore, since we the NT ministers have such hope, we use much boldness of speech to spread the Gospel, unlike Moses, the OT minister, who put a covering over his face so that the Jews could not look constantly at the end of what was passing away. But the Jews minds were blinded until today, the same covering remains unlifted in “the reading of the OT,” because Christ has taken away this covering. But even to this day, when the NT is read, a curse lies on their hearts. As many as are under the OT are under the covering or the curse. Christ has saved us from the covering of the law, the OT. The entire OT were until John the Baptizer; since then is the spreading of the NT (2Cor.3:6-17, Gal.3:10-13, Lk.16:16)
R: Lord Yeshua, to whom shall we follow but You who have the message of eternal life? (Jn.6:68).
M: The law and the prophets were until John. Since then comes the spreading of the good news (Lk.16:16); blessed are those who hear and believe.
(All sits as the minister introduces the teaching topic, the teacher and the translator if need be)
After lecture, the Minister shall conclude saying:
M: Does anyone have words of exhortation, contribution or questions? Let him be bold to speak before this holy assembly. And in absence of exhortation, revelations, questions and whatnot, we proceed to the next agenda.
Everyone is permitted to ask questions arising under the subject or topic. If the teacher cannot provide answers now, it will be provided within the week; please bear with us. Every question should be written with the name of the person on it.
M: Let us pray our Father (All kneel)
R: Our Father...
M: Blessed are you, our Lord God. It is you who created all things in the universe; through your goodness you created human beings in your image and likeness, that man and woman may worship you and rule over all things in the universe. Because mankind hardly knew this, everyone being ignorant is gone astray of your initial purpose and will for mankind. Help your Church, this Church of truth to arrest the ignorance of you in mankind and build a lasting relationship with you in knowledge. Lord, keep your holy Church, this Church and the General Overseer, St. Chinedu John from error of the Evil One and do not let us be deceived, O Lord, we pray.
R: We pray that your will alone be done; not ours. We pray that we prosper and be in good health bodily and spiritually. We pray that it shall be well with all we do and live on. We pray that no wicked spirit should be allowed to harm us. We pray that you protect our going out and coming in; that you provide our needs to your own glory.
M: God our Father, Your Church, this Church pray that you know all that we need, do not withhold them from us, for we are Your children You bought with a prize (1Cor.7:23).
R: We are more valuable Lord than many sparrows Amen. (Matt.10:31)
MOMENT OF PROPHESY AND BLESSING
The minister blesses the saints gathered together with power in the Name of Yeshua, saying:
M: I bless you and do not curse you. He that blesses you is blessed; he that curses you is cursed. The Lord is your light and your salvation who shall you fear! Yeshua is raised to terrify and scatter your enemies. In Christ you are more than a conquer; you must reach your destiny: no spiritual power can stop you! Witches and wizards cannot get you! I command Satan to get out in your life now in the name of Yeshua! Yeshua is still the LORD of our lives.
R: We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.
LORD'S SUPPER
THE BREAKING OF THE BREAD
(After the Feet’s Washing according to the tradition of the Elders, the Pastor in charge continues)
M: The Lord Yeshua on the night He was betrayed took bread; when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat, this is My Body which is crucified for you: do this always in remembrance of Me"; in the same manner, He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the NT in My Blood. This do, as often as you drink it, you remember Me till I come." For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes (1Cor.11:23-27).
R: Lord Yeshua, we proclaim your death until you come in glory (1Cor.11:26).
(The sharing of the unleavened bread reminds us of His Death while that of the love's feast leaven reminds us of His Resurrection. Sharing wine begins while all the brethren are seated, praying at hearts; and followed with hymns (Matt.26:30)
Let Brotherly Love Continues
Collection For The Saints
When the Saints Collection Boxes or Bags are made ready, the minister says:
M: Now, concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the Churches of Galatia, so you must also do: On the first day of the week, let each one of you lay something aside…(1Cor.16:1-2).
Do not give to the Lord's Saints what does not cost you something, for God loves a cheerful giver (2Cor.9:7).
Give willingly and not unwillingly. Give what you have and not what you don’t have, for no one can give what he does not have. Give and it shall be given back to you; the less you give the less you will receive; the little the capital, the little the investment; the little the profit. The more or measure you give, the more and measure you will receive. He that loves much is forgiven much; he that loves little is forgiven little. The more knowledge we get the more power we get. So, let us give our time, talent and treasure: moment, muscle and money to the holy brethren and our Lord Yeshua will receive us; when we do this to the holy brethren, we do it unto God our Father. Amen.
ANNOUNCEMENT
ANNOUNCEMENT
Correspondence: Any letter from any Church, brethren, government, organization, ministry and whatnot?Baptismal Call: Anyone here who desires to be baptized should be free to inform us after this Rest
NT Studies: The Apostolic Epistles School, AES holds every Tuesdays and Thursdays, while Questions on Doctrines can be applied daily.
Christian Traditional Marriages: Know that we believe that sex is marriage. Anyone here who is up to the age of consent to have sex, or who is at the legal age, and is baptized and anointed; who has fulfilled all the requirements of this Church in choosing a life partner in love and intimacy, should inform this holy assembly so that we announce your marriage to the General Assembly. Secondly, we announce that brother N.......and sister N........have be joined according to the Christian Tradition; that is, they have consolidated their love and affection by sex or intimacy, which is the CT Marriage (1Cor.6:16).
Visitations: Sisters are to visit sisters; brothers are to visit brothers. A brother is free to visit the sister he loves and should be free to get closer to her family, he must not avoid her and her family member; likewise a sister to the brother she loves. Fathers should endeavor to visit themselves and make friendship in love of the brotherhood; mothers should do the same in love of the motherhood. Mothers could also visit the young sisters and encourage and teach them the reality and spirituality of life; likewise our fathers. Let us strive to know one another.
Assignments: Hospital visitation should be in pairs at any time and at any day chosen by brothers and sisters who are very close to each and one another. The same is applicable to suspects in cells and inmates in prison visitations. Other visitations like Hotel, Brothel, and other social places should be done in three, a sister among two brother, or two sisters to a brother especially when visiting the brothels. May God grant us His grace and power to withstand and overcome all challenges as we go out daily to visit those in need of repentance anywhere and anytime.
Evangelism: General Evangelism, GE holds Saturdays and Sundays; Friendship Evangelism, FE holds according to arrangement by two or more brethren who are friends or very close. We should know that whenever we chat or converse with people anywhere and anytime, we are to help them in their ignorance of God which is the absolute blindness facing the whole wide world. Let us strive to evangelize daily in 2go, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media; in season and out of season, as the epistle says (2Tim.4:2).
All Day/All Night: All Day indoor holds every second and third Saturdays of every month whereas All Night indoor holds every first and second week Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays of every month.
Meetings/Quiz: The last week of every month shall be the days every Organization can pick a day within the week to hold their meetings. All outstanding Organizations should not forget. The Youth Organization, Young. Sisters Organization, Christian Cultural Association, Christian Mothers Organization, Christian Fathers Organization, Material Help Organization, Church Minnisters and Elders Fraternity, Choristers Association, Stewards Organization, Apostolic Scribes Organization, Under 18 and 11 Association, Children Society, Christian Traditional Marriage Society, Christian Dramatic Society, Christian Inspiration and Writers Society, Peace Association, Bread Bakers and Wine Brewers Organization, Saints Collection Committee, Worship Committee, World and National Conference Committee, General Overseer and Sub Overseers Council, and others should endeavor to hold their meetings within this period.
Confession: Everybody within the Holy Assembly can here a confession everyday but if you want it confidential daily, then you have not yet fully repented but that you have discovered that the Brother or Sister Confessor has poor Christian conduct, and is ready to make fool out of your confession. Confessing is telling your fellow Christians or brethren your faults and your possible ways of amendments in order to get advice and prayers of forgiveness from them and friendship which will go a better way to curtail or put to an end the temptation and the sin. Let us therefore strive to make friends with one another so as to be free to confess our sins to our Christian friends.
Office Days: From Monday to Thursday every week by 10a.m. to 2:00p.m. the pastor shall be in his office.
Visitors/Observers: We welcome all our visitors here present and pray that our Lord Yeshua will fill you with all of our unarguable spiritual understanding. Peace be with you as you leave or join us. You may now come forward and salute us.
Donations: Anyone with something to financially, or materially give to support the Needy Brethren, Building Projects of this Church, let him or her do that immediately after the REST is over. All donations should be given by willingness; not by necessity or by force. We are commanded to command the rich to share their wealth with those who need help: the rich brethren should take note or be disfellowshiped. The early Church had all things in common and no one says what he has was his own.
M: This REST is ended, let us go in peace, with grace to love and serve the Lord Yeshua, by obedience to His commands to go and preach the Gospel throughout the world, in order to bear lasting fruits of righteousness.
R: Grant us Lord Yeshua the boldness of speech to open our mouths to preach Your Gospel as we leave this REST to go proclaim Your Gospel to all. Amen.
Hymn: When we walk with the Lord. (As all depart to their respective homes and wherever)
Written by: the General Overseer: St. Chinedu John
